Anyone watch this last night? I thought that it was a little over-stylized, but it has a good cast (can't go wrong with Delroy Lindo) and definitely kept my interest. I can see myself flipping to this after Lost if 'The Nine' turns out to be a letdown...

I liked, I think it's the better-written, better-acted version of Vanished. And something about Jeremy Sisto...ooh baby...
I kind of dug the Man on Fire beginning, but I hope they don't parallel it to close when Virgil gets out of the hospital. As it is they are even setting it up like the movie, making the dad a suspect.
I felt so bad for Leo's little curly-haired friend, I wondered how many times in one day he'd piss his pants.
Is Virgil the guy from Forest Gump? You know, the shrimp guy? I thought I recognized the lower lip.

Does anybody know if they are going to reair this? I meant to check it out, but my DVR had a major freakout and I missed it. My friend just went on and on about how great it was, and I'd like to see for myself.

Yep, same guy. I thought he was quite handsome on this show.

I'm not sure, but they did say at the end of the show you could go online for a 2 minute recap.
I know it's not the same, but it might at least get you interested for next week.

Don't know if it's being reaired, but the full episode is available to watch on nbc.com.

2nd episode last night. I really liked the first one, but this one put me to sleep. I really don't like that they're already reaching to the old cliche -- just as they're about to get somewhere, the guy gets shot/building blows up/whatever. I did like the ending, finding out that the kid is somewhere in Mexico. I heard that the ratings for week one weren't so hot; maybe it's not long for the air???

I'm still liking it...curious about Conrad (Dad's) past, I'm wondering when she'll tell him that her kidnapper knew him. Did you catch the wink to Mykelti Williamson at the beginning, where Knapp & the reporter were talking across the street from a Bubba Gump Srimp Co.?

I did notice Bubba Gump, but I didn't make the connection with Mykelti (pretty obvious, I guess!).

It's nice that they're going to let them wrap up the storyline ... too bad they didn't try a different timeslot.

I was so bummed when I heard about Kidnapped! Although I just checked the website & now they're showing it on Sat. nights-pissed me off, I was looking for it last night. Where am I going to get me some Sisto after the show wraps?? At least they're playing all 13 shows & not leaving us hanging.

Never fear - Sisto always seems to bounce back, you can't get rid of him he's like mold or crabs - He....Just....Won't....Go...Away.
Can you tell I'm not a fan?

 Ah well, I always seem to like the guys everyone else hates...JD Fortune, Jake Gylenhall (sp?), and apparently Jeremy Sisto!! Must be something with the "J" names. I don't know, I guess I'm a little crazy, but it got me hot when he was pushing around those junkies at the end of last week's show...it's that bad boy with a good heart thing, such a sucker I am.

I don't mind Jake G. that much (in spite of Donnie Darko). As for Jeremy - he was a creep in Clueless, a cult leader in something else (I forget what), a nut job in Six Feet Under - maybe he's just a really great actor but I find him creepy.

I haven't seen Donnie Darko, but I did notice a lot of people put Jake G. in the Butterface thread, which I just don't get.
So, regarding Jeremy, creepy is bad?? :tongue_smilie: You know, thinking about this, I am a little off-kilter. I thought the guy in Red Eye was hot, both in that movie and in 28 Days & he's kind of creepy. But at least it's all fantasy, I won't be writing any love letters to inmates any time soon. Although it does suck I have to remember Kidnapped will be on Sat. nights-who watches TV before 10 p.m. on Saturdays?? (Hence, moving the show...)
