Anybody planning on chatting about PR tomorrow night? I finally got Comcast but they have to install digital so right now I don't have Bravo. I'm hoping my computer can handle the gasm chat room and the live blog. :scared:

I love/hate this part of PR. Like a great book I hate for it to end but I can't wait to find out how it does end. (does that make sense?)

I am looking forward to seeing Andy and Katie on the Live Blog so I can point to them and say "I met them - they know me." LOL!

Did any one else hear about the Jeffrey issue with his sewing?

Yeah there's a thread about that.

I'm so excited about the show tonight, but I think the reunion show is going to be pretty boring this year. Not looking forward to sitting through that. the anticipation of the finale might be too much for me to handle.

So was anyone suprised that all four are eligible to win? For about two seconds I was worried, because Uli and Laura were chosen and I knew Jeffrey was in because of the scandal, so I thought maybe Michael wasn't in....

Did not like Michael's dress. Jeffrey's reminded my of Alice in WOnderland, I liked it, but it did look poorly constructed, which only adds to the scandal. Did they show the reunion and the last epi. on the same night last year? Just wondering if they stretched it out a week to resolve Jeffrey issues.

Tim had so many cute moments, I just can't hink of them now.

Still loving Laura.

I have very mixed feelings about last night's show...it's like the non-elimination legs in The Amazing Race (which I'm not a fan of...the NELs, that is). I really think this was a last-minute decision by the judges because CLEARLY (IMO anyway) Michael's dress was the worst one there last night, and they didn't want to have to auf him & keep Jeffrey. I think they really wanted a final 3 of Laura/Michael...and Uli, but with Jeffrey not far behind. But here comes Uli with a beautiful and different dress that begged for the win, and it put them in a spot they weren't expecting. Laura's was clearly a well-sewn and pretty dress (although I concur with the judges about "NO MORE PLUNGING NECKLINES, PLEASE!!!")...and that left Jeffrey's dress (which I thought was clearly nicer than Michael's) for 3rd place, and would have meant sending Michael home (his dress looked awful from a distance, it was so dark and monochromatic that you couldn't see any of the detailing, and it fit horribly and was very unflattering...)

Anyway, that's my theory!
And now I'm REALLY hoping that Jeffrey gets revealed as a cheater & booted from the show. I'd be happy with either Uli or Laura winning, though I'm still rooting for Laura. I just don't like enough of Michael's designs, even though I like him as a person.

Oh...one more thing...I was thinking last night how odd it was that the designers wouldn't have planned ahead & designed some kick-ass outfits that would suit various challenges, so that for a challenge like this one they could just pull the most appropriate one from their memory and they're all set to go! Seems strange to me that they don't seem to do this...it's like being a politician heading into a debate, and not planning ahead for various questions you might be asked, and being prepped on those topics and subjects.

I agree, last night's decision didn't make much sense---what's the point in having all three of them compete when it's going to make it that much harder for the judges to pick from four contestants, instead of 3? what was the point of this final challenge then? i wish they had stuck with the usual 3.

I love Michael & have liked most, if not all, of his designs but i was prepared for him to get the boot for this one --- I think Uli hit the nail on the head when she said his outfit looked like some'in worn by those 1-800 party line girls. Perhaps it was the color & the huge cut in the middle that made it look cheap, like some slutty dress u'd find in Fred. of Hollywd.

I thot Jeffrey's photo. of his model was the prettiest but it ddn't seem to represent or suit him at all as a designer. Talk about 'costumey'---it looked like something a modern Snow White would wear. It had pretty elements, like the ribbon around the halter and the little butterflies on the skirt, but I can't imagine him making dresses like these for his entire collection. or for his famed rock clientele.

both Laura & Uli had the best dresses, absolutely beautiful in their different ways, glad to see both made it.

oh, BTW, did you guys notice that in the Bravo ads for the show, they kept featuring the part where Heidi says, 'this year, we are NOT committed to having 3 designers on the runway' (or something along those lines) yet that part went unaired during the final show (i guess in a better attempt to hide the possibility of having 4 final contestants at the end).

Michael Michael Michael...oh that dress. I just can't think of anything to say about it. The color was bad...I'm just wondering if losing his model totally threw him off.

Jeffie's dress...yes it did look like a modern Snow White! Tati you hit the nail on the head. The bottom looked unfinished...like something should be added to it. Reminded me of gathering to make pleats!

Uli's dress is not my cup of tea, but she did so much better.

Laura's dress was pretty, but on the model looked icky. Her body frame just made that dress so unattractive.

I'm sure they could not auf Michael because of his dress, and that is solely the reason they decided for four.

Damn you PR -- I was "sweating like a whore in Church" last night when it appeared that Michael was going to be auf'ed. I hated it when the Kors said that perhaps Michael was better in Sportswear than Evening wear...perhaps you would look better in a human skin tone rather than the Burnt Umber you have been spraying on MK.

Loved it when Heidi told Penis Head that his dress looked very "milk maid like". Then she suggested that he should have taken the photo of his model wearing the dress and actually milking a cow. Klum-Slap!

I liked Laura's the best but enough of the low low low necklines Skelator. Some of us have boobies.

Uli stealing Nazri from Michael (who's had her the entire competition) made me mad. I realize it is a competition blah blah blah but it just seemed like Uli was just doing it to be a bitch.

Let's face it - Nazri is Fierce and can make anything she has on look Fabulous!

when the judging got down to michael and jeffrey and i was sitting there thinking "HOLY CRAP DONT GET RID OF MICHAEL! YOU CANT! PLEASE GOD NOOOO!" and then Heidi made my dream come true and didnt eliminate michael... but, then again, she also didnt eliminiate jeffrey.... damn!

it will be really interesting to see who will win this thing. i have heard some many different opinions about the runway shows. my best friend from college was working the tents at bryan park and got to see all the shows plus meet tim and jay mccarroll and some of the models. she said that she loved lauras the best, then michaels, ulis, and then jeffreys. other people i have heard loved ulis the best.... its so hard to wait until the show airs!!

i cant wait for the reunion show either! it looks like they give keith (was that his name.. the guy they kicked off?) a really hard time! sucker!!:D

I think they were more than likely going to boot Uli last night for being repetitious with the printed fabric but surprisingly she did a pretty good job and won the challenge. It was obvious that she screwed their plans for the ultimate Final 3: Micheal (consistently good), Jeffrey (the bastard for drama), and Laura (the novice).

When it came to the Final 2, I knew Jeffrey was in a scandal so it only meant Micheal would get the boot... but so happy that they both made it. Besides being a challenge, this was a challenge to get the best designers to Fashion Week so they were judging not only on this single dress but also their entire performance. Michael & Laura consistedly made good dresses throughout the competion so they deserved to make it. Jeffrey has a distinct point of view and he brings the drama like Santino so he was going to make it. That only left Uli whose seemed pretty one note throughout the competition but she managed to sneak in with a surprise win. But I'm glad all four made it in the end. It would've been a tough decision to get rid of Jeffrey, Michael, or Laura.

I read an article about Jeffrey in LAtimes, the links on Blogging Project Runway...about his attempted suicide, drug addiction, failed band....hmmm, it didn't change my opinion of his designs, which is good, but they don't move me, like "I have to have that dress!" I hope he does well with his line, but I don't want him to win PR.

about the whole ugly dress that Jeffrey made, but it was edited to make JeffreIn an interview with Laura she says that Darlene was overreacting [the other moms were pretty laid back, design whatever you want, but she was very rigid in what she wanted] but she agrees with the rest of the world he shouldn't have made her cry

I love Project Runway, but the final challenge episode is a disappointment. Most of the designers choke on the final challenge. This year, Michael & Jeffrey's outfits were unflattering and boring. Laura's outfit was pretty, but she had done it at least 4 times before. Uli was the exception this year, her dress was adorable and didn't look exactly like all her other outfits. (Although she still went with a crazy print)

I wonder if the designers get so used to working w/the rules of the previous challenges that when they are given total creative freedom they just draw a blank.

I watched the marathon on Bravo yesterday- all day fashion extravaganza! Last night I had strange dreams of missing patterns, too much material and Vincent in his underwear:eek:

I hate Jeff. I'd be so humiliated if he were my son or husband/partner. Yeah, Darlene was a bit sensitive, but she didn't deserve his attitude. It was unprofessional, rude, childish and over all shitty of him to treat her the way he did. I mean, he says she was the most difficult person he's ever worked with. I'd totally love to throw my mother at him. She'd have layed him out cold with her criticism and her inability to be pleased with ANYTHING.

I adore my mother with all my being, but that woman is hard to deal with.

I love all the rest. I think I'm rooting for Uli in the final show, mainly because her style is what I look for when I shop. I liked the traveling dress she made a lot. That fabric was:drool:

mp - I so agree with you on the Mother thing. My Mom would not have taken his shit. In fact she would have taken out her hanky, spit on it and then tried to clean Jeffery's neck of that ink stuff all over it.
We were eating in a restaurant one time and Mom was being her usual demanding bitch of customer and the poor waiter looked at me with that "WTF?" face -- I put my hand on his arm and said "Think of it this way, you've only had to deal with her for about an hour...I've had to all my life."

 I thought my mom was the only one who did that! She hasn't done it in years, but now she has a grandbaby. So I expect that kleenex to come out of her purse soon.
