The twins rocked their photos again, but need serious runway work. I wonder if they aren't used to walking in heels.

Anchal was lovely as ever, and the other girls were their usual blah selves. Except A.J., she really rocked her photo and the runway show.

And what the hell was up with the entire panel singing? That was so weird.

This episode was so funny. The Jade montage cracked me up. I also loved the singing at the end.

I'm so happy Monique is gone. I can't stand her voice. She's a huge bitch but then when she gets in front of the judges, she has this baby voice that she does that makes her sound innocent. She's disgusting too. I can't believe she wiped her DIRTY underwear on Mel's sheets.

I really love this cast. I like almost everyone.

I loved it when Caridee said "I smell what you're steppin' on.." or something like that. Twiggy's face afterwards was hilarious.

Speaking of Twiggy, I loved it when she said Anchal was not a 'happy bunny' in her little girl voice.

The only people I dislike are Megg, Eugena, and Melrose.

I thought last nights episode was pretty good. I too loved the impromptu singing and laughed really hard when they got twiggy to join in!

Monique - So glad she is gone. She took her divatude to new heights when she rubbed her used drawers on melroses bed. So gross! How about even after Eugene left the room she still kept talking to herself in that fake ass baby Paris Hilton voice.

Melrose - She pisses me off sometimes, but she worked the water runway and her photo was "fierce".

Brooke - When Tyra was saying that not many girls can create their own wind, I laughed like a two year old being told a fart joke! He picture was great though.

The Twins - They need to practice all walking all the time, they take great pictures but they look like a bull dike while walking.

Eugene - She is next to go. I just don't think she is capable of showing emotion.

Megg - I wished she would go, but I now have a fun new drinking game. Anytime she says the word rock or anyone says it regarding her I take a drink. I was drunk last night!

Is it just me or did Eugena and Monique look strikingly similar last night? When they were standing next to each other, they looked almost interchangeable. I'd never thought so before, but last night it just struck me. Very happy that Eugena stuck around rather than the skanky bitch.

I can't wait for Megg to leave. I don't like her pictures, her mouth is insane and she needs to shut up about the "Rock n' roll." Honey, if you need to advertise how "rock" you are, chances are, you're not "rock." She's displying shades of Survivor's Billy's "metal" fixation.

Speaking of looking similar, when the show first aired, I thought a lot of the girls looked like contestants from previous years but I couldn't find links to the old seasons (at least on the CW website) and I didn't remember the girls' names to be able to post about it. Then last night at the beneift show, half of the girls from past seasons who I was thinking about were there! There's Shannon/Melrose and Brooke/Jaida and then a bunch who I don't know the names of. I guess my point is it's like Tyra and Co. keeps picking the same type of girls. I still can't tell some of them apart this season. Anyone else notice some similarities?

PS: Tyra's comment to Caridee (Gosh, Jade!) cracked me up! The montage was funny but Tyra's snarkiness was the best!

i was plesently surprised at how well the pictures turned out this week considering how hard the runway walking challenge was. megg looks so different when people actually style her hair. i liked almost everyone's photos except eugena's and melrose's. i know melrose's was supposed to be "fierce" but i thought she just looked pissed!

Monique really deserved worse than she got from Tyra. "I'm sick" PLEASE! The girl needed to drink some water and go take a picture! If you go to the hospital and they say you are dehydrated, they keep you there on an IV until they feel you are okay.

I saw no IV so she couldn't have been too bad. She's just a whiney baby.

I seem to disagree about the twins. I don't like their pictures.

I'd like to see Anchal win but she doesn't walk so well...

I don't think it's a rule that if you miss a photo shoot you will be eliminated. I just think it's a HUGE disadvantage if you have one less photo than the other girls.

I do think if you miss judging, you will be eliminated. I remember Adrienne from season 1 leaving the hospital so she wouldn't miss judging. I think she said it would be an automatic disqualification.


:closedeyes: I'm really unimpressed with Danielle's commercials. They are not as bad as Nicole's, but they are just boring. I think the way they are directed they don't let Dani's personality shine through.

The more I watch these shows the more I think that Tyra is a bit of a bitch (Don't tell J-Unit I said that). She tends to make fun of girls in a more mean than funny way. I get the sense that she and the two Jays would have been the mean girls in high school. Jay seems to be super catty to anyone that doesn't follow the program. If you don't like your make over, if you feel sick, if there is any weakness to you at all Jay is gonna pounce on it.

The twins disgust me - they are not pretty in person, they can't walk and the only reason people think they "Rock" their photos is because we are all surprised that they are just less ugly in them. They are NEVER beautiful in them.

I do find the twins' photos more surprising & impressive than I do the twins themselves. But I agree that they never really look 'beautiful' in these shots, just a helluvalot better than we could ever guess they could look. Neither of them can walk for shit, though---Michelle actually seems to stomp when she walks & her back tends to hunch over.

AJ looked great ystrdy! Anchal is still beautiful but her pictures haven't fully captured that. Megg looks better in her pictures b/c in real life, UGH! They gave her the worst perm I've seen in a while. & the poster (jampony?) that said that 'just b/c you claim to be all 'rock & roll' dsn't mean you are' is so correct! BTW, who uses that term anymore?? Seems so dated, from Elvis' time. (R.I.P, Elvis, I luv u!)

I missed the 1st 30 mins of the show, so I missed ths eppy's Monique drama, thx God, only caught the wet runway walk (yikes!) I hadda restrain a smirk when I saw that shot of poor li'l Monique outside w/her bonnet & her Bible, a lone tear streaking down her face. What a D-movie actress. I wanna take ths oppty to thank Tyra & co. for getting rid of ths nitemare sooner than I'd expected.

Oh, and Dani's commercial---the one where she visits the Seventeen editor or whomever she is---poor Dani, something about these ads is so flat, something's missing, as if she's just reading from memory w/ no real life. I'm undecided about the short hair, I thnk i liked her long-haired look better.

I have called AJ the winner from day one, barring any stupidity on her part, I see her taking it. Although, I do give props to Melrose for rockin' it the f@$* out on her shoot. Finally a picture that doesn't make her look 40.
And little rocker chick-----if she says "rock and roll" one more time I personally will take away her rocker membership. However, MissJ can do her impersonation of her whenever she wants.

I'm pretty sure most of us are surrounded by women who look more beautiful than this crop of wannabe models, including ourselves (I consider myself average looking, but I seriously don't think any one of these chicks would give me a complex if I were standing next to them in public somewhere -- okay, maybe AJ would). I think Anchal's beautiful... but in comparison to her rivals on the show she's drop dead gorgeous.

I have watched most of the previous season's of ANTM and it is not very often that I find any of the girls outstanding. I loved Eva, but this season I have to agree with the lack of phenomenal beauty. Brooke is my faovrite because I think she is adorable, and AJ is pretty hot, but nothing unreal.
PBD, I have seen no indians who even compare to Anchal. Well, not recently anyway. But I agree with you, I don't find her stunning, just different.

You really don't have to be "pretty" to be a model. All that matters is being photogenic. I have girlfriends who are stunning in person, but just kind of blah in photos. The girl I know who looks like a model in photographs is kind of ordinary in person. It's all about your bone structure!
