I loved the reunion show and was glad I got to see a lot of Tim Gun last night. I can not believe that Keith tried to say he was set up by the producers over the books he had that got him kicked off. Tim got so mad it was great! I was laughing so hard when they showed the clip of Vincent yelling at the producer over the shirt. Michael mimicking him was classic and then when he was still yelling out on the street, priceless. I think this was one of the better reunion shows they have had.

I totally agree and I'm glad that I watched it. I almost didn't because the idea that Keith was going to be given a lot (too much, IMO) of time during the show when he didn't (IMO) deserve it really bugged me. But I think that they handled it pretty well...and then he was ignored for pretty much the remainder of the show. Loved that :)
I loved how humor-filled the show was. The montages of clips were hysterical. It's really such a good group of contestants overall in terms of personalities, and their ability to be self-depricating.
I even liked how the Angela/Darlene/Jeffrey thing was handled, because basically what I saw as the conclusion was this:
-Jeffrey behaved badly and it was recognized as such, even though:
-Darlene didn't handle things well & is high-maintenance
-Angela is pathetic and didn't handle the whole thing very well
Laura looked GORGEOUS. I think I have a crush on her! And/or I want to be her. I've got to work on polishing myself up a bit and becoming more fabulously glamorous. I think that I've got at least some of the outspokenness down, though  I'd love to be friends with her, but I have a feeling that I'd always just feel frumpy around her, no matter how FG I was that day!
I love, love, love Tim Gunn.
And Heidi doing the Malan laugh just about killed me!

i noticed that, too! Laura looked beautiful, had a flattering, healthy glow about her. She wears pregnancy well.
The Malan laugh segment was funny---my favorite part about it was Robert's quote: 'He (Malan) looks like combination of Cary Grant meets Eddie Munster'. Best. Description. Ever!
It was good to see the booted contestants (most of 'm), esp. Robert, Malan, and Allison, whom I think were all voted off too early.
I still think Jeffrey is a major prick & I think as Robert correctly pointed out, his biggest mistake in the situation w/Darlene was his handling of things---he certainly wouldn't have stood for his own mother to be treated like that, nor would he ever treat any other 'client' like that either, it's just unprofessional. Angela may have designed shit & may be a fruit loop but I give her credit for keeping her composure & never bad-mouthing him---not even once---I would've verbally ripped him a new one! She even managed to utter a (somewhat pathetic) nod at how she & Jeffrey might've been friends if they'd gotten off to a different start (highly unlikely---she's not his type of friend).
Keith is an arrogant, condescending moron. He got caught red-handed & then had the nerve to insinuate that he was set up---apparently it took a couple of months for him to come up with that explanation b/c he certainly didn't protest when he was booted off the show. good riddance to the most pathetic sore loser.

TimGunn wears Jeans! Sculpture and Paintings and drawings by TG. I am going to have to try and find those. "TimGunn uses Big $3 words." The clip of him and the dictionary definition on the screen as he was talking was so funny. I was just happy I knew most of the words.
The whole Keith-cheater-justifing thing was pukeaful. He was and is a cheater and a liar...move along.
'serious ugly' by Laura. 'boring' by Robert. 'turns me on' by Vincent - he is still a douchebag asshole. He is the biggest drama queen (as voted by the viewers).
Malan is STILL someone I would like to see more of...there is something about him that draws me in. The Heidi doing the Malan laugh was weird funny.
Re-hashing the Jeffery/Darlene/Angela incident was pointless. He was wrong, Angela and Darlene are still over-reactive bitches.
Vincent going ballistic about his "Fluff and Fold" was a great example of how fucked up he really is. Kayne said "He's crazy!" YES - HE IS!
Michael getting the Fan Favorite was no surprise. The braces are new and they are the old fashioned kind which even makes me love him more!
MK and Nina Garcia seemed genuine in their responses to Kayne and Angela...BTW - did it look like Angela was wearing a Jubilee Jumbles tie?
Loved seeing the past winners and contestants in the clips and so glad NOT to see Wendy Pepper (I still want to slap her!).
Can't wait till next week to see the entire collection (I have stayed away from the web shots) and who will win PROJECT RUNWAY....

Some of the things he said is quite plausible. First off, he should've read his contract and ultimately it's his fault. It's possible that his books were returned to him, if that really happened, he should've had a discussion with the producers. If it was their error, they would've let him stay... and Tim was right he didn't fight hard enough or prove his point. Secondly, he claims he asked a Production Assistant to leave. He must be a total dumbass considering Production Assistants are the lowest paid and least responsible member of the production crew. It would be like him asking the caterer or a janitor if he could leave the set. If it was a producer giving him the okay, it's a different story but it was fricken' PA!

Yea, I was like... uh... you don't know what that word means?!? Silly fashion designers!

Why would the producers do something like that? Seems uncharacteristic for a show of its caliber to produce a sly and juvenile stunt like that in its third season. If Keith really felt from the beginning that someone (producers, production crew, etc) put his books back in his room, then why ddn't he voice his suspicions sooner? At least bring it up to his fellow contestants in defense? Why wait almost 5 months to bring it to anyone's attention? Probably b/c it took him that long to come up w/his half-assed excuse. As for the bit about him asking permission from the PA---whatever. As usual, he is the kind of person who believes (& acknowledged in his exit interview) that 'rules don't apply to him', he believes himself to be above them and when he is confronted about things, he just blames someone else. Anyone but himself.

I'm not going for the conspiracy theory that the producers planted the books. But perhaps a production assistant found the books and returned it to him by mistake. That's plausible. IF the books were mistakenly returned to him, he would've been able to stay. But at the time, he didn't say anything in his defense and ultimately his fault for not defending himself. And actually we have the same point of view, I wasn't defending him, I'm just saying it was "plausible."

He is the biggest drama queen (as voted by the viewers).I don't think so...I think that Keith's the biggest drama queen, whereas Vincent's the biggest head case, and Jeffrey's the biggest tool with the (just guessing) littlest tool.

It sounded to me like something he came up with on the spot when he felt like he was losing the argument...the only reason I can imagine him coming on the show at all would be to try to make himself look better and when he sensed it wasn't working it sounded to me like he just spouted the next-best thing he could think of. Thankfully I doubt there are many people who believe a word out of his mouth.
I was totally bummed we didn't get more from Bradley - at least a montage of his weird comments! What is a reunion show without "I'm a squid without an ocean"??
When they reshowed the Jeffrey / Darlene thing I really landed on Jeffrey's side. I think Darlene being a big wimp made it look much worse than it really was...or at least that's how I saw it. She made the whole thing into such a huge deal when it really wasn't, and I'm glad Laura pointed out that Darlene was harder to work with than the other moms. Let's not forget, it's all in the editing.

Hey pekm...
The clip of Bradley making sounds reminded me of that cop in Police Academy who made all kids of noises and sounds.
He looked waaaaaaay better on the reunion show - almost human.

Fun reunion!
That montage of Vincent was great. Man, it turned me on so much:tonguewag:
I thought Heidi was gonna start snorting over the farting Jeffrey part. She was like a 9 year old boy! Hilarious.
Congrats to Michael for winning the people's choice money.

I thought the same thing about Heidi. She was positively gleeful! It figures that an asshole like Jeffrey lacks control of the shit that comes out of his mouth, or the other end of his alimentary canal. Although I agree with someone upthread who thought Darlene was difficult also. Darlene + Angela= Victim.
How funny was it when Angela asked the judges if her story had been different would they have rated her design differently? Heidi was like, NO! It was a Hoochie Mama outfit
