I loved Joey last night, and Edyta's just looking so fabulous this season, wowsa!
I just can't bring myself to like Willa, even though I do think she's a good dancer. And although Maks is nice to look at, he's seems like kind of a jerk in 'real life', so I don't find them to be an endearing couple :rolleyes:
Mario just seems like such a smarmy a-hole, I can't even enjoy his dancing. I also wish he'd just ADMIT that he's got tons of experience with all sorts of dancing INCLUDING formal/ballroom/ballet/whatever, because it's so obvious that he does! Just admit it! It's okay!
Monique did well, though I thought her outfit was less than flattering.
Emmitt did really well, too!
Sara...:sleepy: I don't get the judges raving over her. At. All. She's the most boring dancer to watch, she sort of lazes through each move, there's no snap, no punctuation to her moves. Boring.
And, c'mon, the judges gave Jerry 8's??? Seriously? That's completely unfair, IMO, to give him marks like that when the other dancers did much more complex moves & earned the same marks. I don't care if he's older, it was his choice to compete against the younger folks & either he can cut it or he can't (I doubt that I'd be able to, and I'm only early 40s!)
So...the judges raved over Sara and Jerry, and yet criticized some of the others for picky little stuff? I am REALLY not enjoying the judges this season.
Tom Bergeron? You RULE! I can't imagine this show being hosted by anyone else. So, so funny. :p
Emmitt was GREAT. Now, I'm not saying he has a new career or anything, but come on! The guy's a freaking football player and he danced that well? Plus he seems like a good person (with tons o' money).
I agree with you obstinatgirl, Sara is sooo boring. I thought she stunk, but unfortunately she has alot of fans who'd just luv to vote for her.
I hate the look Mario face makes when he dances. Eewww
Monique did great, Willa did good (who the fuck is she again?) loved Emmit and Joey got bad scores for a dance I quite enjoyed.
But Jerry, I could have gone another 48 years without seeing him in a low cut frilly shirt. And spray tanned? In swim trunks?? I had nightmares all night.

It seems like some of them are judged against professionals and Jerry is judged on his own merits - which is thoroughly UNFAIR.

Emmett WAS great and you could really tell he was enjoying himself. I loved all his little wiggle moves. And I loved that Carry Anne got up and did some of her own.

Yes...I agree, that was unnecessary. Where's the FCC when you need 'em?
And, yes, I'd never heard of Willa until she appeared on this show, either. Talk about using the term "star" loosely!
Though, I'd also never heard of Monique OR the show she was in!

Y'know, Willa might not have been my favorite, but there is no WAY that she should have gone home before Jerry or Sara. That stunk.
Oh, another thing? That disco number was horrible. The music was bad, the costumes were bad, the choreography was bad, and the dancers were bad! It was just BAD!
I saw Harry & Lisa on The Megan Mullally Show this morning while I was getting ready for work...they seem like such an odd couple! He's fairly stiff, and she's so OverTheTop and outgoing!
One of the male disco dancers was a chubette.
Jerry should have gone home. Followed by Sara next week. Stupid voting public.

I was bummed that the blonde bitch got auf'ed. She really did improve a lot over the first weeks. I don't watch the second show of the week until the end coz I hate the "filler" bullshit they put on each week. SUCKS!

I had never heard of Willa before this show, and that may have been one reason she went home. Who ever heard of her? Does she have fans? She did well scoring with the judges, so it was the lack of fan base that did her in. I am most sorry to see Max go. I really enjoyed watching that ass of his dance!
Did you see the look on Jerry's face when his name wasn't anounced? He was surprised.
Someone needs to pull the plug on Sara. She may be a nice girl, good country singer, blah, blah, blah. But she sucks as a dancer. If her fans keep her on, and Jerry's fans keep voting, someone who really CAN dance will go home next week.

I only know of Willa Ford cause she was once a long time girlfriend of Nick Carter, and apparently she was quite abusive of him, I only know of this from what I have read. She was also in a girl group, can't remember the name. Her real name is Amanda Wiliford. That is all I know, sorry if that bored you, the cold medicine made me do it! :lol:

I'm interested to see if they'll bring her back on this week b/c of sara Evans dropping out. she and Macks are enjoyable to watch.
as a sidenote, I heard a funny line by Wanda Sykes in an interview on Extra as far as this show goes. She said- "where are the stars? If I don't want to see you act, who said I want to see you dance?" :lol:
