Well I would also like to say that I LOOOVE the new rules for the non-elim. It's so much better than taking their money and their clothes. I'm also really glad Mary and David didn't get kicked off.

Another pretty good episode of Amazing Race! So let's start our list backwards. We'll go from the people we hate most to the people we like most.

Peter & Sarah - The Bionic Woman & The Bionic Asshole
You think you hate Peter... then he does another thing to make him a bigger prick. I expect to hate him even more next episode. It does irk me that they arrived in first place. He was a big prick the whole episode and totally condescending towards Sarah. And on top of that, he made fun of David & Mary... this displeases me.

Rob & Kimberley - Kimberob
Rob is a jerk. This is true. But Kimberly loses all sympathy with random quotes like "I want to be around rich people!" and "Look how skinny that cow is. Is it homeless?"

Dustin & Kandice - Team Miss USA
::shrug:: I still can't tell them apart. I do appreciate they're not completely dumb and they are approaching the game strategically. They're smart enough to dump Peter & Sarah as alliance partners. But once again, another team I just don't care about.

Tyler & James - The Druggy Models
Seriously, we get it. You use to be drug addicts and now you're models - YOU'RE STILL BORING! We still don't care. Unfortunately, this means they'll probably win the race. At least we don't have Dukes still be disappointed with his lesbian daughter... let's count our blessings.

Lyn & Karlyn - Lyn/Lyn
Another team, you just really don't care about... but I'm excited to see some sista action next episode. Watch it blondie, they're going to get ghetto on your ass.

Erwin & Godwin - Win/Win
I seriously want to like them but they keep making stupid decisions. They don't want to lie... that's fine... but don't tell the other team your flight plans! It's called a fricken' secret! And then on top of that, they stuck around Lyn/Lyn to try doing a detour they didn't even really want to do. Ugh... I just want them to play "the game" so they can actually win!

David & Mary - The Coalminer & His Wife
Why is it everytime I see their names, I just want to sing along with: "The movie star, the professor and Mary Ann..." Yes random... I still love them and kept praying for the Non-Elimination round and thank Phil for being generous. Hopefully with all the penalities, they'll be able to take the 30 minutes and be ahead of everyone. I doubt they'll make it to first place but I'm hoping they can recover.

David and Mary need a fast forward in the next leg to help them catch up. i was glad it was a non-elim round too, and I agree that the new rules for this are a great twist to make the game more exciting.

Peter-UGH! Somebody shut him up! I pretty much watched the last half of the episode shouting "I hate him" each time he opened his mouth. He and Sarah bicked more than any of the other teams this week. It was deserved on her part though. He didn't even help her over the wall in the croc challenge, he just yelled at her. What an asshole!


btw- I totally would have done the croc challenge. They had so much help, they barely had to do anything dangerous. A croc's jaw presssure is only strong when snapping shut. Once you have it held closed, they don't have as much strength in opening back up.

When Phil makes a point of mentioning restrictions at the beginning of the episode you had better listen - look at what happened to Tom and Jerry. This week, he pointed out that Vietnam has some restrictions and teams could not book flights at the ticket counters at the airport. They needed to go through a travel agent to make their arrangements.

KFC wants to stop working in the coal mines, go to Disneyland and put his kids in an airplane. Always good to have goals in life. I am thinking that if they don't win, Ellen will give them airline tickets to Disneyland.

Win/Win wearing the Phil t-shirts that claimed the host was lost and offered a reward of a "bushel of kiwis" for his safe return. PhilBushel but still no PhilPackage. Drat!

But the best comment tonight was from Kima while on the bus and smelling fishy people she said "I want to go to Europe. I wanna be with the rich folks."

The way Peter is acting is sickening. Always telling Sarah what to do and how to do it and acting like he it is just part of his being encouraging. He doesn't think he needs to change, he likes who he is -- sure sign of a douchebag. He wouldn't even look at Sarah. Which begs the question "just why is Peter with Sarah?" Could it be that she is his 'I am such a great guy b/c I have a handicapped g/f.' cover?

I love the Roadblock, which required a team member to pass an Indian driving test. The instructor was adorable and I think it's hilarious that the participating Racers now actually have Indian licenses. Peter mentioned that he could come back to India and drive got the silent treatment from the instructor. See Peter - even people in India know that you are a tool!

KFC were the last team to arrive, but it was a non-elimination leg of the Amazing Race. Hooray! A new twist, David & Mary did not lose all of their money and possessions instead, they are "Marked for Elimination" and must finish in first place on the next leg of the Amazing Race or they will receive a thirty minute penalty. Interesting change up.

I love this show! I yell, scream, swear & sweat while watching. And that's just cause there was no Philpackage.
Mary is the best. She complimented the Indian gentleman's wardrobe. I was so hoping they wouldn't be eliminated, but you know they won't come in first next week. Ugh.
Kimberley is obnoxious. Someone needs to take her down a peg.
I too can't like the beauty queens. They just aren't very nice.
Peter was acting so Peterlike last night. I'm glad Sarah is talking back to him. Telling him she wasn't having fun (while he sat there eating!) Hopefully she has returned to the states, and her sanity and dumped his gay ass.
At least Lyn/Lyn didn't compare the croc challenge to childbirth.

I can't believe I despise Peter more every week, but he just keeps getting worse. Sarah's knee isn't in top condition, so she can't run as fast as usual. Get it through your thick skull! Your "encouragement" isn't going to fix her knee, so shut the f**k up!

So glad Dave and Mary weren't eliminated, I hope they can make it 1/2 hour ahead of another team on the mat. I don't think they can possibly make first place unless there is a fast forward. Actually I hope Dave and Mary bicker the entire leg of the next race, look how well it worked for Peter/Sarah and Rob/Kimberly.

I thought Kimberly was the ugliest American on this race, but I think Peter surpassed her with his comment about going from cesspool to cesspool. I don't remember exactly what he said, I just remember it was nasty.

I was glad it was a non elimination and David and Mary stayed in, like the new twist to the non eliminations as well.

Peter reminds me of Jonathon from Season 6 the way he's constantly going on at Sarah, i like her but can't stand him.

Laughed at the comment from the one that said she wanted to go to Europe where all the rich people are, well if she find some rich people point them in my direction because i certainly don't know where they are.

They just are so precious, I love seeing them. Don't think they'll win but hope springs eternal.

My friend Catie and I were talking about them the other night while watching and decided the best word for Peter is a "user" . Sarah reminds us of that girl in high school who hung out with the popular kids and let them copy her homework and pawn off most of the group project on her but also had other friends and was fairly well adapted even with a disability. Peter is that assbag that dates this girl to get in with the popular kids.
I know somewhere in the back of his head he knew dating her would be great for business.

I don't think there's anything I could say that hasn't been said, either about my favorite teams or Satan.(Peter-like I really had to clarify) But I agree, I hope there's a Fast Forward on the next leg, Dave & Mary need it.

I think Peter truly is the ultimate asshole of the Amazing Race-worse than Jonathon who up until now got my vote. Has there been a bigger douchebag? If so, someone tell me cuz I can't think of one.

I forgot to mention that I thought I saw a caption under Peter and Sarah that said "possibly dating" instead of "recently dating" during one of their arguements. I though it was just the editors having a little ha-ha moment at their expense b/c Peter was being such an asshole to her. Did anyone else see it?
