what did everyone think of this episode? i thought it totally rocked! i am so glad that locke is back to his old kick ass "one with the island" ways. naked desmond was very nice to look at  i hope they explain more of his "powers" - him knowing ahead of time about locke's speech was creepy!
glad that boone was back in action too! locke using the same trippy/crazy haluciation medicine that he used on boone to talk to the island and then seeing boone was pretty cool. i liked that whole scene in the airport. and locke fighting off the polar bear! yikes!
i cant wait til next week - it looks crazy!!! i dont know if i can watch it alone...it might be too scary!

I'm glad someone started talking about last night's show!! I thought it was cool that I finally got to see a real polar bear since I missed the first one from the first season. I hope Eko will be okay. Boone looked SO hot... And it was cool that we keep getting more and more of the picture so we get to see everyone's reaction to what happened with the hatch and the others' taking of Jack, Sawyer and Kate. Next week looks like some psychological breakdown of Sawyer. If he needs some comforting, I'm volunteering for the job... ;)

I'm glad someone started talking about last night's show!!
i know! i logged on here because everyone at my work freaking taped it last night and so i have no one to talk about it with!!!! and then when i logged in there was no new thread!
charlie had some good zingers last night towards locke! "is that drugs your taking because i know about your zero tolerance policy and i wouldnt want you to have to start punching your own face in!" and about how the sand and the trees were such good conversationalists.
for all the hype about the new characters, we only saw them for like 2 seconds.

Great episode. Loved all the male eye candy: Desmond, Boone, mole police officer, new lostie. Boone with long hair was definitely a good thing. If I could be guaranteed visions of him I'd be building myself a sweat lodge as we speak.
What was with the Geronimo Jackson shirt and shout out — The producers claim that they're just giving tribute to an underappreciated band, but why do they keep bringing them up? http://lostpedia.com/wiki/Geronimo_Jackson
Why was Desmond naked? No complaints here, but there's got to be a reason.
If Desmond has "powers," do Eko and Locke do too? Were Locke's visions (Sweat lodge and Eko speaking) part of his "power?"
Are these "powers" the same kind of thing that Walt had? Is that why the Others were so interested in him?
Great episode last night. Desmond - woo hoo.
They never showed what happened in Locke's flashback, when he didn't shoot the cop, did they? I was wondering about that. Btw, I love the flashbacks. I think they are so telling about the characters, and why they behave the way they do. Locke had nerve preaching to Charlie last year about drug use, when he was growing some shit himself!
Anyway, my favorite part was when Hurley was going thru the jungle, heard a noise and said, "bear??"
Did he expect a "yeah Hurley?"
I missed the previews for next week when I switched over to Project Runway. What did they show?

I know Charlie has a lot of fans, but I was kinda hoping the polar bear would get him when he went to get water for Eko. I just can't stand him.
Thank G_D Eko, Locke and Desmond are still with us. I'd probably have to stop watching if they killed off any of those three. They're the only interesting people left.
Next week it looks like Benry kicks the ever loving crap outta Sawyer while Kate cries in her cage across from his. So sick of that plot line.
It was crazy to see Boone again, that whole sequence was seriously trippy.
I was thinking that Hurley also could have started to realize he might know Desmond from somewhere. After all, he was in the insane asylum with Libby and Libby gave Desmond her boat...

hurley said deja vu bc desmond told him about locke's speech before he spoke it, so I think he realizes somethings up with desmond---the implosion blew off his clothes
charlie- his one liners got a little old after awhile- i mean does he have to make a joke about everything?
geronimo jackson -- do you think the pot guy was in the band? the band was formed in san francisco--in the airport scene sawyer is holding an upside down postcard of the golden gate bridge(exact same photo as one in austrailan shaman's hut on the wall) (no, i didn't figure it out myself, have to give credit to the lostfanatics at lost-forum.com) and Locke's gun registration papers were from san francisco---so I don't know why it would be important, except just another connection if the pot guy was in the band...
on the canadian preview for next week sawyer punches benry, and benry says something about in order to gain a con mans trust, first you have to con him....
so happy about the return of eko and hurley
ambivalent about the new people--feed them to the polar bears

You probably blinked. They were on at the end for about two seconds and only one of them had a line (Kiele Sanchez). And boy, did she over dramatize that line or what?!?

Are they the ones who were like?
"Where's Jack?! Jack's gone! Where's Sayid, Jin and Sun? What?! OH NO!"

I think Kiele's character yelled "we've got to go find Jack" or something like that (in a very earnest and whiny voice).

Very satisfying episode. Good eye candy with Boone back, and the young guy who was a cop in Locke's flashback. Boone's eyes are the dreamiest. Did anyone catch the name of the actor who portrayed the undercover cop?
Glad to see Locke back in touch with his inner hunter/mystic.

I liked this episode, but wtf was up with no conclusion to Locke's flashback? Knowing Lost, we'll see the end of it sometime next season

I thought he looked a lot like Billy Boyd (http://www.billyboyd.net/bio/media/bio1.jpg), Dominic Monaghan's (Charlie) fellow hobbit.

Thanks, chick. I've not seen anything he's been in previously. He must just have a familiar looking face. (and a very cute one at that!)

Stupid blinking to help your eyes function. One hour of non-blinking won't hurt right?

I didn't think it was boring. The scene with the polar bear was pretty lame though. The airport scene was just too freaky. I will agree with the girls who said that boone and Desmomd were looking GOOD! I like Charlie too- I think he's funny.

When I first saw Charlie, he looked weird to me. Like it wasn't Charlie but some Charlie lookalike who they hired and put a little Charlie makeup and prosthetics on him.
I loved the airport scene. Very trippy. But the whole episode was a little odd to me. I couldn't put my finger on why it was odd, but someone at work mentioned that he thought all the people were acting out of character. Like when Locke comes staggering out of the trees and Claire and Charlie are all lackadaisical about it. Like, "hey, there's Locke, should we go see how he is?" I dont' know. It felt like they let someone else write the episode who didn't know the characters very well.

I liked this episode but it did seem to be a little off.
I have to share this... My friend has a huge crush on Locke, really wierd, so Thurday nite we were at her house for our regular Survivor party and we started talking about Lost. Our other friend present doesn't watch the show but knows of the crush. Well of course there is poster up and we were trying to figure out some of the blondes (they look alike). Well my friend points at Jack and said that's the one you like right?? She and I laughed and said no, she likes the bald old guy.

ummmm, has anyone seen the recap for the latest episode? It seems to have been misplaced. Or are we being punished for the TabloidBaby dislike?
Just wondering.
