OK I'll start.

I'm not sure about the beach newbies. They're trying to trick us into believing they've been there all along and are hip to what's goin on.

Bullshit.

The oh-so-dramatic Kate/Sawyer do they/don't they storyline is pissing me off.

The flashbacks are less and less revelant. They just re-hash character flaws we already know about. It'd be different if they flashed back to where other islanders were around at the same time to make me get all analytical BUT NO.

This is my GD favorite network show and it's deteriorating before my eyes. AND we get a solid 13 week hiatus. WTF happened?

I was not a big fan of last nights show either.

So this is what we learned:

Sawyer has a daughter, Clementine, who he sets up an account for in a bank in the same state as the one Kate robbed- NM?

Charlie and CLaire are also now aware that Desmond has visions- (the lightening rod he built to take the strike instead of Claires tent)

Juliet is a fertility doctor.

40 yr old man with tumor- Ben? any other guesses, Benry seems too obvious

Anything else? I mean we already knew Sawyer was a con man. I am frustrated.

Not my favourite episode, but I read the ew.com post this a.m. and it brought up a few points/theories that I thought were interesting (I like ew'S recaps, but HATE the freaking comments -- they make me love all my fellow gasmers even more).

-Ben mentions a sub when he runs in to get Juliet. Hmmmm
-Ben and Juliet might be siblings. It would explain the tension between them and frankly, Juliet is out of Benry's league, so a past romance might be improbable. They might even be twins which ties in with "The Bad Twin"
-Is Othersville on the main island or the new one?
-was week one's digging for a tunnel to the main island?

This could all be crap, but it was stuff I hadn't thought of and I found interesting.

Not sure if anyone else has said this before, but could Kate and Sawyer be clearing rocks to build a runway? For a plane, not a fashion show.

I don't like the new losties twist either. We have a hard enough time following the other people. It feels like they are others . . .

I just wish they would throw us a bone and at least give us a few answers. There are lots of questions that could be answered to appease me.

What is up with two islands? I am still pondering what that means and how that can be.

I have to agree with Hardly@work that it seems a bit obvious for Benry to need the surgery. We have a hint why they wanted Jack, why Sawyer and Kate?

I liked last night's episode; I actually thought it was the best yet this year. I agree with a few of the comments other people have made, though.

I think that the flashbacks are becoming irrelevant. I did like Jack and Sun's flashbacks this year, they gave us some insight into the characters and/or advanced their story arcs. But Locke's last week and Sawyer's this week didn't tell us anything new ... Locke's a born loser and Sawyer's a conman. At least the Sawyer ones were pretty minimal last night ... I think that even the producers probably felt like they were putting in a flashback just for the sake of having a flashback. That's why the new characters are coming in, I guess; they can tell new flashback stories instead of retreading old ground. It is kind of odd the way that they're just there and part of the group, as if they've been there all along ... I know that, technically, they've been there the whole time, hanging in the background, but you'd think there's got to be a less cheesy way to introduce them...

Hopefully we won't see much more of Kate's backstory this season. Yawn.

I'd like another Hurley, Eko or Desmond flashback.

The only good part of last night's flashback was when Sawyer called that fellow inmate "Costanza".

I think Kate does love Sawyer, despite her saying otherwise.
The theory of Juliette & Ben being siblings is a good one. I agree the x-ray is probably Ben's, yet if he has a tumor on his spine how the hell is he climbing, running, etc.?
The whole other island thing in the end had me so confused. How did they get there?
I am loving Desmond's esp shit.

Was I the only one thinking of HoneyBunny when Ben was shaking the 8Bunny?

NO! I thought of her toooo and was really furious when it appeared he had killed the bunny.

I didn't think of HoneyBunny. That scene disturbed me, and I like to keep HoneyBunny in my happy place.

Juliet is a fertility doctor.
Wasn't Sun kidnapped by the others at some point? I seem to remember her in a clearig in the jungle with a bag over her head and her hands tied. Maybe Juliet gave Sun a little help in the baby department?

I don't like the new losties twist either. We have a hard enough time following the other people. It feels like they are others . . .
I think I read that Nikki is going to be a love interest for Jack. I think even the writers got tired of the Jack/Kate/Sawyer triangle.

I had my eyes closed through most of it. That was just bad.

Actually - that was a fake Others napping. Remember, Charlie pulled the fake attack to help Sawyer secure the guns.

I prefer Kate with Jack, but I'm open to new storylines - anything to end the triangle. Now that other new guy - the cutie pie from Love Actually - makes me swoon. More man meat is always welcome to me. ;)

So sick of the whole kate/sawyer love triangle, kate just always seems to be in the way and grating on my nerves. When Jack was going to operate on the other woman I kept screaming at my tv 'don't do it! she's a filthy other!' Don't really like Juliette's character either. She just feels like an other-Kate

I kinda freaked out with the Bunny shaking, She is precious to us:) The Desmond quote about golf and being Scotish made me love him even more:p

Being a huge geek and wasting time at work surfing the internet I have come across compelling evidence regarding the next Lostie to bite it....I don't want to be one of those posters that gives the spoilers w/out some kind of indication that anyone even wants to hear it so if the consensus is that you want to know I will divulge...or maybe I am an even bigger geek than I am giving myself credit for and everyone else already knows and my "scoop" isn't so much scoop as it is poop!?!?

And this is my FIRST post although I read all of these forums like it's my job!

I agree campfiregirl, Desmond's "I'm Sco'ish" was a highlight. He makes me want to emigrate to Edinburgh.

Hopefully Nikki isn't Ana Lucia 2.0. That one line she delivered last week was pretty emoted though. If she sucks, maybe we can get get someone in Hawaii to frame her for DUI.

I just realized that we haven't seen Rose or Bernard at all this season. I hope they'll be around at least some of the time.

You are right, Ms Tumnus. There are many losties we don't see anymore since everyone is spread out.
Sign me up on the Scottish boy bandwagon. First naked, then that sexy brogue! Damn. I'll be his caddy anyday. As for the new lost boy on the beach, I think he is damn fine too. I want a three way with Desmond, new guy and Sawyer. But, I guess with me in it, it's actually a four way.
(Thank God my hubby doesn't read this)

Jigger- post it under the spoiler thread- because I would like to know if it is who I'm thinking, and I really don't want it ot be that person.
A Kate episode is coming up, we find out she used to be -------. (not a man )

The next episode is eko-centric

Something I did not notice until seeing on the E! board--- Sawyer said to Kate something about 'wipe the stars out of your eyes...' which was what he said to kate in locke's airport dream- ummm, so does Locke have pre-cognition as well as Desmond?

So sick of Charlie- why is he the only lostie that looks dirty all the time?

ABC cut out some extra scenes that are pretty significant to the plot IMO, but for fear of being flames I will post them in the spolier thread.

Posted as a new thread in the spoiler section.....

And yes, I saw something about Kate and wiping the stars out of her eyes. I think I am going to have to watch that airport scene again because I don't recall it. I'm not sure that we are supposed to assume that Locke's has psychic abilities, I think it's more to kind of validating his vision as having substance given that Jack, Kate and Sawyer were with an "other" as in real life. Who knows though, I am dying to see where they are taking us for our mini-season finale!! I know they are laying groundwork for some serious cliffhangers and I also am guessing they are going to divulge some good stuff come episode 6 to keep us happy!

I was reading about different episodes on the ABC Lost website, and something caught my eye.
In the first season, they had an episode titled "white rabbit"; and in the second season, and episode titled "live together, die alone". Isn't that odd? Or is it me?

Umm...Who is Nikki? I must have missed something.

I really love to watch Lost, but I'm so sick of the Others saying they are the good guys and they don't kill people blah blah blah! If they are so good why do they have people locked up in cages eating fish biscuits ment for bears? Why don't they send these people on their way or at least fill them in why they can't be sent on their way?

I know that wouldn't be much of a show, but I would really appreciate at least a little more information on these people.

I think Nikki is the new female lostie, the one that we saw for 5 seconds 2 episodes ago, or something like that. Think they're be a juliett/jack/nikki love triangle?

I was wondering if Jack and Juliett would have some kind of love interest.

DO you have to pay for these? I was thinking about looking, but I figured there would be a charge. I didn't want to pay for it so I decided against it.

nay on Kate's backstory but yea on Kate's backside which we got a little snippet of last week and by the way no foundations under that loose sundress?? now we know why Sawyer continues to take those "zaps" for a chance to impress Kate...

That was one of my concerns too. But I logged in yesterday and they didn't as for any info they just went straight to the clips. It makes you wonder why it was 'exclusive' unless they make it 'exclusive' for a day or two and then allow it to be open to everyone.

Some of the clips that they put in this section were ones that had made me go hmmm, but other than confirming that it probably made some one else go hmmm, I got nothing out of it. Give it a whirl and see if you see something that I don't.

I don't think this counts as a spoiler, if so I apologize. Ask Ausiello cleared up the question of how Jae died.

Question: Did Sun kill Jae on Lost?
Ausiello: No. In their latest Lost podcast, Damon Lindelof and Carlton Cuse confirmed that Sun's boy-on-the-side did in fact commit suicide.
