Next season location.

How many of you guys would like to see next season (6th) being filmed in a foreign country. in that case, where?

I think a great place would be eastern europe, remember season 1?
but it also could be middle east or something....

I don't think a foreign country. It would be weird, seeing Jack work in another country. I'd like to see another city... maybe NYC (Eh... 9/11) or D.C.? But then we'd have to say goodbye to Chloe and Audrey and Bill and them.

Hmmm...perhaps they could bring back the Victor Drazen storyline (even though he's supposedly dead) and set it up in the Balkans.

I was thinking about it too Firecat, they may do a season 1 prequel, that way they could bring old caracters like Nina, Palmer, Mason, etc...

Yes, it could be NYC. The point is, i think it's important to move on from LA, and give the show the needed flesh new blood.

I'd like to see them do something in DC. Terrorists take over the capitol, or crisis on inauguration day type stuff. Don't think they have the moeny to pull it off though.

I'd like to see something on a less ambitious scale... maybe Jack trying to blend into the background at a small ski resort area and he stumbles on some local terrorist/kidnapping/drug ring/space alien invasion plot (you know; the usual) - but a storyline that does not involve nearly so many unbelievable time warps and plot twists and gun fights. Maybe recruit some interesting local characters - (sheriff, recluse, ski bunny, climber, etc) instead of the usual hi-tech CTU guys. Finally, maybe limit it to no more than one cliff hanger (literally or figuratively) per episode. (I know - ain't gonna happen, but I can dream).:rolleyes:

This season, the show moves beyond the Los Angeles-based CTU to Washington, D.C, where Bauer is facing trial for his extreme actions in the pursuit of justice.

This location would certainly make sense, from a logical target point of view... as would NYC or Vegas.

Based on prior seasons, I doubt if the writers will give our enemies any practical ideas (unless they have mastered time travel).
