Side talker Peter needs to find the painting that Simone has. That's not all he wants to get from Simone (wink wink)

The Dynamic Duo (Hiro and Ando) are confronted by the Vegas High Roller they cheated - get into a card game then ends with them crawling out a bathroom window after the poker players get whacked ala Niki 2.o style. She is one bad bitch!

Step Mommy and Claire are frosting cupcakes for the Bake Sale. Mommy is holding a freaking shaggy dog over the cakes...ewww.
Creepy Daddy "set-up" a meeting with Claire and her biological parents. Oh - these two were direct from Casting Central. When he gets a call from Pixie girl who reports on Peter's "Save the Cheerleader" line he gulped big time. Then she asks what to do with Precog (who turns out to be heroin artist) and Creepy Dad tells her to bring him in (for a scooping?). Claire's mom happens to mention something about her as a baby - being different and a cough. Claire tried to get more out of her and you can see that Claire's beginning to wonder about Daddy Dearest.

Niki gets DL'ed from behind but doesn't give him up to the cops. DL says that he didn't do the deed (taking the 2 million and killing the crew) that it was a 'woman'. (Niki 2.o) DL and Niki find the bloody aftermath of the Poker game. Niki 1 meets Niki 2.o. Micha tells DL that Mommy has a secret too. Niki and DL fight and it turns out that Niki’s ex can put himself through stuff including Niki. The scene looked like Neo in the Matrix.
Is she dead? No Way!

No Matt this week and Mohinder the Wuss leaves...Good Riddance!

First, I'm glad to report NBC finally updated their recap from last week that said that DL is the cleaner. That was so annoying!

I didn't realize that the poker game that Hiro and Ando were at was the same place that Niki and DL saw the next day until HoneyBunny mentioned it. I should have guessed, though, the way the metal door had caved in and cracked and blood was dripping in.

I thought for sure that Mohinder had realized something strange had happened on the train when Peter moved to the other side of the train in the blink of an eye (when time stopped) but then I see him packing up to leave and telling Eden Peter's a crackpot. That was some sloppy writing there and it's still bothering me.

What was the significance of the painting that Simone had of Niki with her tatoo covered up? Did Isaac recognize the symbol? They made that scene seem so important, I'm just not sure why.

What the hell did DL do to Niki? That was an insane scene, wasn't it?

And what the hell is Niki's power? I swear, if it turns out the power is just a second personality with superhuman strength, I'm gonna be pissed. There has to be more to it than that, right?

When Ando sees his hand Hiro gave him at the poker game, straight flush. Then needs to go to the bathroom with Hiro-- That's how they roll:lol:

When Hiro gets his message from Peter and finds out he carries a sword in the future:wub:

I don't think Niki is dead. She's the bad guy and DL is good. From the comic it really slants that he is a good man who really cares for his family.

Best show on TV:)

Another great episode. I loved Hiro's reaction when he found out about the sword! And, huge surprise, the Pixie Chick turned out to be working for HRG.

Not sure what to make of Niki ... is she posessed? JPC (just plain crazy)? I think that DL is a good guy. I think that he stopped Niki's heart, like Vision from The Avengers ... don't think she's dead though! :eek:

That wasn't the painting Simone had. It was there in the beginning of the episode when Peter and Isaac were talking.

Did Isaac recognize the symbol? They made that scene seem so important, I'm just not sure why.

Maybe that scene was supposed to indicate that Niki's dead and her alter ego is still alive. Maybe there's no more split personality. It's just the alter ego from here on out. Or it's the other way around.

Anyway, I would really love it if Mohinder's gone for good, but I know that's not gonna happen. He annoys the hell out of me.

I just knew that Eden was going to turn out bad. She was too good to be true.

I also think that Nikki 2.0 is bad and DL is good. It's too bad for Micha. I felt bad for him.

Good point Ryan07 maybe good Nikki is dead and Nikki 2.0 lives on.

I am with you on that Jampony. I have NO CLUE what her power is :confused: If it is just a split personality that is majorly disappointing.

I loved Hiro's reaction when he found out about the sword!

I know! That cracked me up that he got all excited about having a sword!

Is it just me or am I the only to believe that HRG might not be evil? Grant it, he kidnaps people and examines them, but he does return the people back and the Mind Cleaner makes them forget. He really does love his daughter in a not so creepy way. He did avenge his daughter's attempted rape. I suspect him to be working for a secret Corporation/Government agency, but I'm unsure if it's completely evil. I'm more inclined to believe the phrasing of "Save the Cheerleader" may not be "Save the Cheerleader from HRG" but "Save the Cheerleader from Sylar." I know Mohinder believes that HRG killed his father, but it's more likely that Sylar killed his father.

And I don't get why people are so upset that Niki's power is that she has an evil Alter-Ego that's totally bent on self preservation. I have no problems with the story of Good Niki fighting with Alt-Niki for control of her body. I thought it was clever of them to have Alt-Niki was the one who framed DL and killed his crew. I totally didn't see that coming and it was shocking to see DL wasn't evil but sorta seem like a good guy. And I knew she was responsible for the poker players murder because if you listen carefully while Hiro was in the bathroom, you could hear the footsteps of a woman in high heels walking out of the room.

I have a question. Since it bothered Hiro that he couldn't save the poker players, if he goes back in time - how will that change what Niki did? What will Ando do when he see's it is his Niki that did the killing?
Damn this show is good.

I think Hiro said he couldn't visit himself for fear of causing a rift in space/time. So if Hiro did go back to save the poker players... he would have to avoid the other Hiro from seeing him so Ando would probably never see it was Niki.

Here's my opinion as far as the good vs. evil-I think this show is trying to show that not all "heroes" are purely good. Look at everyone so far-Niki 2.0 has savagely killed people BUT, they were all "bad" guys. You've got Isaac, the precog who's a junkie, the flying dirty, adulterous politician, & his brother who slept with someone else's girlfriend. Hiro used his powers to cheat at gambling, and DL used his to get out of jail & I'm guessing for his "jobs." The cop's wife thinks he's just finally paying attention to her needs. The cheerleader tried to kill someone-granted, he tried to rape her, but you get my drift. It's kind of like trying to say everyone has faults, even superheroes, but they have to get their shit together if they're going to save the world.

Anyway, on another note, & this may have been covered before but I'm a latecomer, what's up with Claire's mom? Is she supposed to look like she's had a stroke?

I've watched this show since it started, and I love it, but what the heck does HRG stand for?? I've been trying to figure it out by myself, but must ask you all "in the know" what it means!! I love reading the forums because then I don't have to try to figure this all out by myself.

I had to look it up last night so I didn't look totally stupid when using it in a sentence.

HRG = Horn Rimmed Glasses (Claire's Father)

And come on, how endearing is HRG when he called his daughter Claire-Bear. Awww...

Totally right on the high heel noise, my hubby noticed it right away but i didn't want him to have the benefit of being right so I told him that is was army boots he heard....hehehehe....dam though....got found out at the end of the episode. Anyways, awesome show, my daughter and hubby get a kick outta me when each episode ends because i get all emotional about it....luv it luv it.

He does, but he's totally cute....he was on Regis & Kelly yesterday and apparently he's married to one of the Dixie Chicks, which I totally did not know...and that's the sort of thing I would know.

Definitely...I'm betting on some sort of psychic ability....maybe he's Walt's brother.

Niki was popular on the internet. Maybe Issac watched her and he recognizes the symbol on her back. If Ando knew where she was from wouldn't he? Also I wonder if the symbol only appears when 2.0 comes out. That was why Issac painted the symbol UNDER a layer of paint. Both Nikis one painting.

Also, I read an interesting theory on another board. Remember the cheerleader who took the credit for saving the firefighter? Well this person's theory was that it was HER with her head cut off in the painting Peter finished, not claire. Something about the girl still incessantly bragging about it, and Sylar mistakingly killing her, giving Hiro and Peter time to escape w/ Claire. Anyway, thought it was an interesting idea and wanted to share.

Love this show, LOVE reading what everyone else has to say about it too!

Yes, I thought saw the same thing and was going to post it but I didn't! I'm certain we are going to find out that the cheerleader in the painting that Peter finished is going to be the lying girl that said she saved the guy.

I also read either on Eonline or Ausiello that the 11/20 episode is going to be the culmination of the whole save the cheerleader save the world thing and is going to be full of good twists.

Ah, I asked about Micah having a power in the other thread - shoulda read this first! I'm sure he HAS one - it would make sense. But I wonder if it'd be a combo of his parents or a new one?

i also think Ikkin has some sort of super strength, to kill that many guys at once and so quickly!

And what exactly is DLs? I thought it was invisibvilty but the way he ounched through her stimach to hurt her... I'm not sure.

I love this show! This ep was low on eye candy, though, sadly :(

I was informed elsewhere that it's more the mollecular thing - he can "walk through walls" and thrust his hand through her and such.

There is some superhero comic person who can do that. Can't recall whom.
