TGIW- only 6 1/2 more hours until LOST....am I the only one having a fit? I will admit, I caved and read insiderscoops post about tonight, and it looks to be a pretty good episode...the sneak preview on abc.com had me in tears....

NO!! You are not the only one that is geekin! Ever since the alarm went off this morning it's all I can think about! And every time I hear the commercial for tonight's episode and hear Sawyer say to Kate "close your eyes!!" I get the chills! I also realized something last time I heard it....when Kate says "they're going to kill Sawyer!!" who is she talking to!?? I can't remember the video previews so maybe they show it but they way she was talking I don't think she would speak to one of the Others that way right!!?

I am bursting with pride - I have fought my spoiler addiction for the past 7 frakkin days. It was definitely HARD and I know I still have a little over 6 hours left but so far, this is a major accomplishment for me!

So what was the big hairy deal? They made it sound like something shocking was going to happen. I didn't read any of the spoilers, but nothing about this episode surprised me. It was great, of course, but I guess I expected more after watching all the previews.

I didn't really think that there were any BIG moments last night like I expected, but the last five minutes did have me glued to the TV! Once again- the midsesonreplacements were useless.

I liked the episode, but I have to agree that there weren't any "holy shit" moments that made me glad I avoided the spoilage. And I'm with you zoobabe, Jack was a bad motherfrakker last night!

I am still not buying Kate and Sawyer. One of the best moments for me last night was when Jack and Kate saw each other for the first time since their abduction, my heart was pounding! There was more chemistry between them w/a glass wall than her and Sawyer had in all of their nekkedness. I agree - completely. From the moment they met Jack and Kate had sparks flying. I feel like the Sawyer/Kate union was more forced.

I can't believe we have to wait until February. I'm dieing just thinking about it. I loved Jack last night. I think Kate may really love Jack, but since she has always hurt guys she loved she decided on Sawyer because he is more like she is. I hope they put some of these clips online. I don't plan on watching ABC's new show just to see them.

I only ask because my stupid local ABC affiliate thought it would be great to run a big ticker at the bottom announcing that some idiot in Virginia beat another idiot in their senate race. While she has the walkie talkie she has the power because well they all know that Jack is gonna let Benry die. Why doesn't she take the gun from jailer number one and say that she is taking Sawyer and then take the gun from Picket as well.

Even if they are one another island...which I sometimes believe and sometimes don't. I bet that they can run into Alex and she can help them get back to their island.

I sometimes believe it is a seperate island because they clearly lived on the same island as the ones the Losties currently occupy. But their workshop so to speak could be on a different island. But I cannot fully embrace that theory because if they did work on a different island how are they getting back and forth? Do they have other boats? Do they only use that mysterious sub to get back and forth?

Ok I know this show is all about suspending reality...oh, 95% of the time. But HOW does Kate have shaved armpits?!!?!? The least they could have done was not show them up close to highlight the fact that they were shaved.

And also, unless I've missed an outhouse scene, they must pee and poop in those cages. Which is a GREAT place to have sex! To say nothing of the B.O. and bad breath....

Now, that being said, when Sawyer said, "I love you too" I had to rewind and watch so I could squeal loudly. It was so sweet! Plus you know he really means and you know she doesn't love him. Bittersweet!

and I totally had goosebumps when Jack saw Kate for the first time. I'm a Matthew Fox fan 100% (give me Charlie over Bailey any day of the week and twice on Sunday) but did he not do a fantastic job? He does that almost-cry thing so well!

I was expecting some big wow moment but the surgery and everything was interesting, I suppose. I think last week's episode (with Juliett's video) would have been a better ending, much more intense

Me and my boyfriend watch the show together every week and I am CONSTANTLY harping on the hygeine stuff--they've been on the island for months, no way are her pits nice and smooth, not to mention the rest of her! I can only imagine her bikini line at that point :P

Plus yeah, they may have had a shower and stuff back on the beach, but they've been stuck in those cages for days--i don't care how horny i am or how hot a guy is, i am not gonna have filthy cage-sex when both of us stink like BO, surrounded by our own filth, in the middle of the jungle and with filthy others lurking about.

P.S. I was so sad when I thought Sawyer was gonna die, he just looked so broken! I want Kate to love him, even though it seems she might not... I hate the Kate/Jack coupling, and I agree that Jack has gotten way more interesting since he's been separated from her. This episode finally made me respect him a little!

good pick up on the Alex thing Tink. As far as Juliet goes, I thought she had to make it look like she was trying to save Ben and wanted Jack to kill him on the table. I thought she was just pretending to be shocked and concerned about Jack's play. She probably really WAS shocked at the way he went about it though.

Oh, I know that. I was trying to remember if Kate and Sawyer knew if there were cameras watching the cages. I think Ben told Sawyer that there were cameras and to not tell Kate or else he'd put a pacemaker in her heart too. Of course there was no pacemaker to begin with... maybe Sawyer assumed that he was lying about the cameras too or something.

The Juliet thing is interesting. Maybe she didn't want to stress Ben out too much before the operation. But if she is evil, maybe she lied about them taking Alex home as well, maybe Alex isn't safe. That's another interesting point - Juliet mentioned that they took Alex home. Where does Alex live anyway?

I always thought that Juliet wanted Ben dead, but the Other others didn't know about this. To me, it seems as though she's power-hungry and doesn't want Ben in her way. It seems like the other Others - Tom, Picket, etc - still have alot of respect for Ben.

I was thinking that he's a character we haven't met yet, but must be the same guy that created the list that Ana Lucia recovered from the Other that she killed after they kidnapped the children from the Tailies. It would suggest that Sawyer is not one of the "good guys".

When Eko fought the others who were trying to kidnap him (way back when the tailies were first introduced) and killed one there was a list of passenger names in the other's pocket. The people on the list were the ones being taken. I'm assuming that's there was a list for both groups of passengers and that's what Danny was refering to in this episode.

Seems that the list we know of - was the tailie list. Because they were systematically taking people from the tailie camp. Now Ben had sent people to both sides of the wreckage and wanted lists from both. How come no one on the front was kidnapped? Ok Claire was - but was she the only fuselage person on that list? Wouldn't you think Rose would have classified as "good"?

I'm thinking Jacob is in a higher position of power than Ben, and wanted those Tallies, Kate, Sawyer, and Claire for a greater purpose (in his eyes) than to save Ben's life. Ben later created the list for Michael, adding Jack, in hopes of a chance of him saving his life through a spinal operation. Jacob probably didn't need Jack on the list because he thinks he's useless to him.

I'm not sure that's a good enough reason to believe they aren't being watched...like because the pacemaker was a lie the surveillance is too? If it was me, I'd just assume I'm being watched and try not to have sex in the dirt.

I re-watched this yesterday and noticed something I didn't pick up onthe first viewing. Ed may have mentioned this in his recap, but I haven't read it yet. When they capture Alex the thing she tells Juliet is that she really needs to talk to Ben. Cut to Ben on the OR table and he asks Juliet "did Alex ask for me?" and she lies and says "No". So does this confirm that Juliet is an evil other? If they wanted to kill Ben - why would they care that Jack had nicked his kidney? Wouldn't it benefit them to let him bleed out?

Depends on whether Juliet is acting alone or if many of the Others are on her side as far as wanting Ben to die. Maybe it's just her big power play? Aside from that, if he's dying of spinal cancer or whatever, why does she want Jack to kill him? Seems the cancer will take care of that by itself.

I thought Ms. Klugh was in the opening scene of the season, when you see a whole bunch of Others when Juliet comes out of her house, but I'm not sure.

Seems that the list we know of - was the tailie list. Because they were systematically taking people from the tailie camp. Now Ben had sent people to both sides of the wreckage and wanted lists from both. How come no one on the front was kidnapped? Ok Claire was - but was she the only fuselage person on that list? Wouldn't you think Rose would have classified as "good"?

I am not sure why no one from the front was kidnapped besides Claire, but wouldn't Ethan have made that list for the front? Why wouldn't he have put Jack's name on it? We know that Ethan had contact with the others while he was lurking in the Losties camp.
