Lost Withdrawl

Here we are, only week 1 of the hiatus and already I am suffering from some pretty severe withdrawl symptoms! Obsessing over characters and their fates; recoiling at the realization that although it is Wednesday, I am not getting a fix; scouring the internet for any bit of news that can feed my addiction only to be terribly let down at every turn.

I'm really not sure I can make it until Feb! I barely made it through the summer and still recovering only to be kicked when I am down....UNFAIR!

OH...and did I mention the recap withdrawl I am having as well!? Aside from Prison Break I haven't seen any recaps of any of my shows since last week!

Sounds like you are suffering from lackoflostitis. I'm not sure what treatment is involved, or if treatments will work. Good luck my friend.

I'm thinking that maybe renting the previous seasons might help. I could play them on the Wednesdays that that new stupid show is on so I wouldn't have to watch it. And then, when the season resumes, I'll be up on all of the past stuff that I've conveniently forgotten. :D

I've just started reading Bad Twin, you know the manuscript Hurley found in the wreckage. So far, the writing is rather stilted, and I haven't really got very far into the story yet (it doesn't help that the book was obviously previously loaned out to a heavy smoker -- P.U.).

There was one interesting bit that I read last night though. There was mention of "mirror" twins where one is a righty and the other a lefty. There's speculation (at least at ew.com) that Ben might actually be a set of twins, and one of them is the "sick" one and the other healthy (and more cunning), thus his beat down of Sawyer and the vigorous hiking. One wears glasses, the other not, etc. I wish I'd taped the episodes this season to check if he switches from right- to left-handed.

This could, of course, be total bollocks.

I had read about the good Ben/bad Ben idea. So, the last episode I looked carefully at Ben when he had the glasses on. He had the same cuts and markings on his face and lip, that the "other" Ben had (the one beat up when captured) So, I don't know about this notion. Maybe it's Juliet that is a twin? Maybe she and Ben are twins. (obviously fraternal)
