Yay Aitu..

I'm still watching. The plot thickens. WHAT A GREAT EPISODE!!

Watching Yul getting sandwiched by thicky thick Pacific Islander women...LOVED IT! I think Ozzy was a bit jealous it wasn't him, though.

And boo hoo, Candace sad that people who she likes want to torment her life.

Peace out Rebecca and Jenny. New members of the juryalongside Brad. I think we have 3 angry ethnic people waiting to seek revenge in the jury..

But, did they say Rebecca and Jenny were going to be on the jury?

Indeed. "Tenth person voted off Survivor Cook Islands and 2nd member of the jury.." and "11th person voted off...3rd member of the jury.."

Episode 9 - Message in a Bottle

Jonathan regrets his mutiny "I'm the wandering Jew without a tribe." (Face it Flounder - You F 'ed Up) Adam and Candice can't get enough of grooming each other and then share a kiss. Jenny and Parvati are concerned about that "alliance."
Awesome Ozzy or Awezzy is playing on a whole different level than the rest of them and we have Candice and Jonathan to thank for it. He and his tribe still feel like the underdogs although I think the Vegas oddsmakers would disagree.

Reward of Umu (pork fest) is up for grabs. Probst tells them to dig for Treasure Chests, get the flags out and solve the puzzle. The Awezz-fest begins and ends with the Awezzenator. Aitu wins for the 3rd time in a row. And guess who gets sent back to Exile Isle...that's right, Mutineer #1, the big C, Adam face sucker, Cry-baby Candice. Bitch - you sooooo asked for it!

The self named "Four Orphans" fly to the neighboring island for the Festival where they are greeted by large Barney Rubble (thanks to Tink for that one) and his homeboys who carry the Aitus on their shoulders. Two zaftig (thanks to TimGunn) native women have a yearning for some Yul and he dances (?) with them. Well he actually gets sandwiched between them.

Immunity Challenge is up next and CryBaby returns to her Tribe (that's what she now calls Adam's little solider). Castaways have to swim out (already I know that Awezzy is going win this one) and retrieve an underwater container. Once they have four they must use the contents to recreate a map of a number of islands. The losers will get that "message in a bottle", which Jeff says must remain sealed, but contains vital information. I love it when Jeff is stern.
Aitu wins (da!) because of Awezzy (da 2) and Yul (sigh). These challenges are not even close.

Tribal Council and Brad is there as Juror #1 and might I say looking so dapper (and by dapper I mean gay). The Probst Probe this week is about why Raro can't win a freaking challenge. Four time losers! Mumble, mutter, maybe...Let me help - You don't have AWEZZY!

Rebecca is auf'ed - sorry but you are not white. The message in the bottle tells them to vote out another tribemate (another double elimination -- we had one last night on Top Chef) and this time Jenny (not white again) goes. Wait till Raro hears about this...more fuel for their loathing of certain Raros....you know the White ones.

Will there even be a merge? I mean except for Adam and Candice...

^ AWESOME BUNNY!:D :D :D

That whole show was great! My bf came over in the middle of the immunity challenge with food and I was like "hurry up and get in the door, Aitu's gonna win. I need to pay attention"!

Nate better wise up 'cuz now he's the "token" in the group of whiteys. It would be better if they didn't merge for awhile now. Yul's still looking good b/c of hid idol, and his tribal dancing was LOL funny. Cutting loose with the honeys was awesome. Ozzy could have given him some tips about being with two ladies.

I liked how Jeff yelled at Raro to stop solving their map puzzle while he checked Aitu's. Have they ever done THAT before? I thought the other team could keep going. Did anyone notice whether Yul and Ozzy swam to the two farthest buoys in the last challenge or the closest ones b/c I know they showed Becky and Sundra going third and fourth and I figured that they'd want to leave them with the least swimming. Rebecca went last on the other team too. I just wondered.

Best part of the episode for me was Candace crying on Exile Island. "People I like want me to suffer"...yes they do bitch, deal with it, and Jenny's face when she got voted out. She looked like she wanted to get a gun and "kill all the whiteys she sees". Priceless!

GO AITU! GO AITU! GO AITU!

The Yul sammich was the funniest thing ever. He was a really good sport. I thought I saw Awezzy dancing with two younger hotter ladies towards the end.
Love that name for him:wub:

Sending the bitch back to Exile-- Brilliant!

They did show Ozzy swimming to the furthest buoy. I was paying attention because it struck me as odd that he was going first. Turns out both teams had the same strategy - send your strongest out first and go for the last buoy, try to build a lead. It's just that Ozzy is way stronger a swimmer than...well, anyone.

I did strike me again yesterday what a strong swimmer Parvati is, though. She seemed to make up a lot of ground against Becky.

This was the best episode of the season. I feel like I'm IN the Aitu tribe now. Best part was poor Candice whining about being sent to Exile Island by "people she likes". And you showed that how?? By running off to the other tribe the first chance you were given??

I actually hope there is a merge before Nate gets the boot - by looks of him after Tribal Council, I'm hoping he's starting to smarten up.

I am so rooting for Aitu now. Those Raro people are just lazy idiots. Laying around, sucking face, complaining. No wonder they can't win any challenges, um, hello? They are going to keep Jonathan around so he will feed them and do all the work for them while they laze around like they are on vacation.

Okay, sort of off topic, but until last night when Aitu was lined up, I didn't realize Ozzy was taller than Yul. I think I always saw Ozzy climbing up trees or whatever and you can't really judge a person's height by a coconut tree (at least, we midwesterners can't) and Yul was always with Becky, who must be like 5 feet or something. I always thought Yul was so tall and that Ozzy was the shorter one. Anyone else think that? Just me?

Sooooo... The way I'm reading this is that the two of you would rather have porn on your work computers?

Exactly. I'm the only IT person we have at work. What am I gonna do if I find out I've got porn on my computer? Fire myself?

LOL, my problem is that I usually have little eyes behind me reading all of this stuff. God forbid I click on a link that shows something porno... I'll just have to wait until the little eyes are at school and not behind me... :D

Not to change the subject from porn, but....

what's going on with the jury this season. there are 3 members already and there are 9 survivors left - something funky is gonna have to happen or there will be 10 on the jury and we can't have that!!

TinkerbellAPixie
11-20-2006, 02:53 PM
Well there is a rumor that there will be a final three instead of a final two. But that's just a rumor.

Thanks, Tink - I was hoping that's what it was. It would be an interesting twist. This season is the best new one in a long while. The twists are at least a little different this time around!

Does anyone remember when the season finale is? I was trying to figure out how many weeks they had to get from the nine remaining to the final four to see how that might figure into the jury situation.

okay, I'm definitely an inexperienced Survivor fan, so can someone please explain to me what exactly the jury does?

Thanks.

The jury votes for the winner. In past seasons, once there are two remaining contestants, the jury votes for which one gets the million dollars.
