So yea... Marisa is dead... but you know what sucks even more. 1 hour before watching the finale, I happened to be surfing the internet and checking Yahoo News when I read this subject heading: "Mischa Barton's character killed off on The O.C." Man I was pissed off! I would've been all shocked and surprised by it and like OMG Marisa is DEAD! HOW CAN THEY DO THAT? WHY? WHY? Instead, I spent the whole episode trying to figure out how Marisa would be killed off. Oh well, at least I had the Lost shocker of a couple weeks ago and that was good enough! :eek:

So now that Marisa is dead... what's the point of the series? Sure Marisa little sis will take over her role but how will they prevent Ryan from going to Berkley and Seth & Summer to Rhode Island. I dunno, I seem to care less and less every episode. The 3rd Season seemed to be a jumbled mess... the whole Johnny thing and then the whole Ryan and Marissa break up and get back together and then break up and then get back together and break up again. So unless they can make some fun outlandish drama like they did in the first 2 seasons, they need to end it in the 4th... 'cuz when you kill off a major character and get replaced by your sister you've jumped the marine fish with a cartilaginous skeleton, a prominent dorsal fin, and toothlike scales.

Seriously? No O.C. thread yet? What a crime.

This show is so back on track. It's funny, it's cheezy, it's preposterous. I love it.

I think Urban Cougar is my favourite term of the day.

I know! I loved last night's episode. That's 4 great episodes in a row.

I love all the "new" characters. Taylor Townsend is one of the best things that's ever happened to this show. Kaitlin Cooper and the twins are hilarious. I"m also glad they're giving Melinda Clarke something good to work with.

It's so rare that a new character works well (Andy from the Office excluded, of course), so the fact that they've managed to create 4 new ones is amazing.

Taylor is great, and I was actually really impressed with her French. Often when they have characters speaking "French" on TV or in movies, it's un tas de merde. Her's was pas mal bon.

And the lawyer? Va va voom!

Hell yeah, and it's not cool to diss it anymore since it's so fucking good. I loved the light-heartedness of last night's episode. Taylor and Ryan have a lot of chemistry. And next week's preview? LMFAO!:lol:

Yes and it is good again that I am trying to convince everyone I know to watch it so that it doesn't get cancelled. I find the Taylor/Ryan storyline so cute and it is finally making Ryan an attractive character to me again. I loved the scenes between Julie and Kaitlin last night. Save the OC!

Yes! Let's save The OC. Ryan has been super cute. I think he and Taylor would make a cute couple. She is really likeable and has made the show that much better.

I think Julie is such and asset to that show. She always makes me laugh.

Haha. I did. I didn't mention it because I thought nobody would know who he is. :p

OK. So this episode of the OC might be my favorite! That was freaking great! And that Spencer guy is hot.

Ryan's fantasies were so awesome. His and Taylor's make out scene was actually really hot.

Best line of the night goes to Taylor: "So what if i did rent a homosexual for the evening?!" LMFAO! She gets the best lines.
Second is the conversation between Sandy and Bullet.
Bullet: "I know the Jews are good with numbers and lending stuff."
Sandy: "Now, there's a generalization that's not even remotely offensive"
Bullet: "Well hold on there, He-bro."

HA! I laughed out loud when I heard that. "He-bro?" That's genius.

Man, now I'm gonna be devastated when this show gets cancelled.

I think last night was my favourite episode of the OC. I loved Ryan's fantasies and when he talked to Seth about them. I'm worried about next week, though. Did anyone else think the preview looked awful? And the Chrismakkuh episodes are usually the best!

What???? You got to see the O.C. last night? For some reason CTV (the only station that I catch that carries the O.C.) didn't show it last night. It was on the schedule, in the TV guide and everythiing, but WASN'T ON! I'm so mad.

CTV showed it at 8:00 Ms. Tumnus. I'm in Vancouver and they usually show it at 7:00 but they showed it an hour later last night because Grey's was a repeat which they usually show at 8:00.

Thanks ryan07. The stupid Ottawa Citizen TV guide still had it listed at 7:00. By 8:00 I had moved on to My Name is Earl (which was good, but not O.C. good).

Pretty good last night. Hopefully that was finally the end of all things Marissa. Loved that in Alt-world she was dead too. HA! Summer and Che were pretty damn funny.

Okay last night's epiosode was one of the funniest I had seen in a while.

I love how they have Taylor and Ryan in scenes. She really brings out the humor in him and his WTF looks when she says or does something unexpectedly.

It's true - it is True.
MSN reported it this morning and Fox has confirmed it.
The OC is over... It is a very sad day in OC land.
There are rumors out that The CW network may pick up the series for a 5th season - but it is doubtful as many of the cast (Rachel Bilson and Adam Brody) have already voiced their opions that the show has run its course and is ready to end. :scared:

many of the cast (Rachel Bilson and Adam Brody) have already voiced their opions that the show has run its course and is ready to endwell yeah they broke up they probably don't want to get being together & kissing now :P

but i agree, and i read here & there people liked the new season, like it was back to be great like in season 1; and i strongly disagree; it's still all crappy, but a different way since marissa is now dead already. bah...
