What did you think? Mer's scene with her mother was quite touching.
I like Callie, George's brothers like Calllie, George's father likes Callie. Why is George so rude about it when she's trying to help? "Cuz she slept with mcSteamy in a moment of spicy Latina weakness? Who wouldn't? Hell- HE probably would!

tee hee! poor George, seems like he was the object of his brothers' derision growing up. I liked Alex and Izzie in this episode. also couldn't help but notice how overtweezed Callie's eyebrows are, they give her a permanent scowl all the time. The scenes with Mer & her mom where really sad. I wonder how things with Cristina & Burke are gonna end up?! Looking forward til Thurs' episode.

Thanks for pointing out Callie's eyebrows.. I saw her in an interview on Entertainment Tonight, and her arches didn't seem as harsh as they are on the show. It really changed the way she looked - her face seemed softer in the interview. I still think she's pretty, and I'd take her over Meredith any day. But yeah, they could improve her look on the show a bit.
Next week is the catfight between Callie and Mer... that producers had to downplay after the Isaiah Washington incident. Can't wait to see Grey get pushed! YAY CALLIE!
The Chief/Meredith/Mom scenes are always good. The Pomp seems to act better with better actors around her.
I loved the bathtub scene. And, I was glad to see that they didn't have sex.
I wasn't aware of a fight between Callie and Meredith. Looking forward to seeing how it plays out. (Usually I hate when women fight on tv. I hated that entire part of Dynasty.)

Yeah, scenes for next episode showed Callie pushing Meredith up against a wall. She's my new hero.

True, but damn, that will make for good tv (hoping they didn't dumb it down too much). I'm liking Callie too, but I think the harsh eyebrows and bangs just aren't working for her.
I was watching X-Men 3 last nite and I saw McSteamy in a small role--he played a bad mutant, one who could multiply himself so that he could be in different places at different times. Not a bad idea, a McSteamy for each of us!

cool gossip, I ddn't know that abt him being married to RG. I, too, thot he reminded me of Leo DiC., I said the same thing on another thread for GA! But you hit the nail on the head, he's a less boyish-looking, more grown-up version of him.
