Chocolate covered caramels are my favorites. I don't dress up for Halloween and I have never used the parking brake except for parking.

So tell me - have you started your Christmas shopping yet?

Ditto on the chocolate covered caramels. Chocolate & peanut butter a close second.

Christmas shopping? Hell no.

same question...
Around here they call a burger with lettuce and mayo a "California
Burger". It also has tomato. It's my favorite.

I'm getting up at 5AM to put 20 lbs of pork butt on the smoker. Pulled pork for the masses by 7PM! Maybe I should go to bed now. Nope, time for another beer.

No flu yet, but I haven't gone to get the vaccine so I might get it any time. I hope you're feeling better, chooch!

So tell me ... do you get the flu shot?

No, this is my home now. Thanks to you, my career is over, and I will spend the rest of my life here in Texas trying to teach evolution to creationists. - Sheldon, The Big Bang Theory

YES! Every year. I was able to get the seasonal flu vaccine this year. Still waiting for the H1N1 to become available for my demographic (guess that means I'm getting old ).
It's the opposite for the kids-they got the H1N1, still trying to get the seasonal for them.

I don't normally, because I have a history of catching the intended disease I've been vaccinated for when the vaccine is live - but now that I'm pregnant as soon as I can get settled I'll be getting both vaccines the one they make for pregnant women is a dead vaccine instead of the live one they use for the nasal flu "shot".

Same question...

This was my first year getting a flu shot - they had a nurse come to the office and the company paid 50% of the cost. She said it was the dead vaccine. She will be back in a few weeks to give us the H1N1 and I will take that too. I need to get the pneumonia shot. The reason I am doing all of this is because I had pneumonia 3 times between November last year and May of this year and i can not afford to keep missing work.

Same ?

No I don't get the flu shot. The one year I did, I was so sick it was unreal. My dr. has suggested that I get the pneumonia shot because like Tink - I get it often, but I am afraid that I will have the same reaction to it that I did to the flu shot.

So tell me - got any big plans for Thanksgiving?
