Well, clearly!
But I agree... I love Eccleston in this role and the fact that he's almost comic relief (but, obviously not on the level of Hiro). The way he punched Peter in the face... brilliant! And I've been wanting to do that for a few months, now, so I was
really happy!
PS: I just read that the actress who plays Simone tried out for Niki/Jessica. I guess the bore factor would have been the same, huh?

I totally agree. When t-bag mentioned he thought she was acting like that because Mrs. Bennet knew about Claire, I was surprised. I didn't read it like that at all.
One thing about this scene that I thought sucked was the acting. If Zachary Quinto could have pulled off an Aaron Stampler type character (Primal Fear), that scene would have been chilling. Instead it was just barely creepy.

I've watched Homecoming quite a few times now and I
still don't see this chemistry between Peter and Claire that other people are seeing. He really seemed to be looking at her like she was a kid, and the way he spoke about her in last night's episode sort of enforced that.

That would be interesting. I just assumed her mom wasn't used to her powers and couldn't contain them. Hell, Nathan only
just realized he had powers, so maybe Claire's mom didn't even know back then.
